NONTAWAT NUMBENCHAPOL (b.1983), Ble, grew up in Bangkok. He graduated department of visual communication design, faculty of fine and applied art at RangsitUniversity.(2005)
His thesis is a feature documentary about skateboard called "WierdrosopherWorld". Nontawat co-directed with Rthit Punnikul and Preduce Skateboard in an association of GTH and Thaiindie. The film premiered at the 4th Bangkok Experimental Film Festival (BEFF4: BKK Democrazy) at Lumpini park, Bangkok, Thailand.(2006)
After that, he began to work in Thai film industry. He shot still photography for “Body#19” (2007) and Dekpred (2009), directed by PaweenPulijitpunya.
Nontawat shot still photo for Bioscope Focus by Bioscope Magazine, the official newspaper of Bangkok International Film Festival2007.
He also shot still photography for a renowed art film director, Thunska Pansittivorakul in "Middle earth"(2007).He also edited some of Thunska’s films such as "You always I belong to"(2006), “Middle earth”(2007) and "Action!"(2008),.Nontawat also a film called "Love is our destination" (2007)with Thunska.
He directed a documentary for Boyd Kosiyabong and PodThanachai Ujin in "Love you again album Bitter sweet"(2007).
He directed a documentary for Top Changtrakul about Bangkok contemporary art in "www.artscenetv.net"(2008).
He served as a curator of experimental film program at The 5th Bangkok Experimental Film Festival. He also worked with Nok Paksanawin was a curator in “Experimental Remembering of S.E.A. Writer Award-Winning AythorKanokphong Songsompan”(2008)
He directed a documentary for Dr. Apinan Poshyananda, the Director General of the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, in “Siamese Smile”(2008). It was produced by Top Changtrakul.
He directed a documentary for Chattiya Nitpolprasert, Curator, in "ArtAids Project” More to Love : The Art of Living Together : Contempory Art Bangkok / Chaing Mai, Thailand (2008). It was produced by Top Changtrakul.
He shot still photography for “Stretch” (2009), directed by Charles de Meaux.
