NONTAWAT NUMBENCHAPOL (b.1983), Ble, grewup in Bangkok. Hegraduated department of visual communication design, faculty of fine andapplied art at RangsitUniversity.(2005)
His thesis is a feature documentary about skateboard called "WierdrosopherWorld". Nontawat co-directed with Rthit Punnikul and Preduce Skateboard inan association of GTH and Thaiindie. The film premiered at the 4th BangkokExperimental Film Festival (BEFF4: BKK Democrazy) at Lumpini park, Bangkok, Thailand.(2006)
After that, he began to work in Thai film industry. Heshot still photography for “Body#19” (2007), directed by PaweenPulijitpunya.
Nontawat shot still photo for Bioscope Focus byBioscope Magazine, the official newspaper of Bangkok International Film Festival2007.
He also shot still photography for a renowed art filmdirector, Thunska Pansittivorakul in "Middle earth"(2007).He also edited some of Thunska’s films such as "You always I belongto"(2006), “Middle earth”(2007) and "Action!"(2008),.Nontawat also a film called "Love is our destination" (2007)with Thunska.
He directed a documentary for Boyd Kosiyabong and PodThanachai Ujin in "Love you again album Bitter sweet"(2007).
He directed a documentary for Top Changtrakul about Bangkok contemporary artin "www.artscenetv.net"(2008).
He served as a curator of experimental film programat The 5th Bangkok Experimental Film Festival. He also worked with Nok Paksanawas a curator in “Experimental Remembering of S.E.A. Writer Award-Winning AythorKanokphong Songsompan”(2008)
He directed a documentary forDr. Apinan Poshyananda, the Director General of the Office ofContemporary Art and Culture, in “Siamese Smile”(2008). It was produced by Top Changtrakul.

Director's Statement
Love in Skateboard brought two of them together. While Nontawat was graduating form Rungsit University.He found that got some footages collected form traveling to skate in different place. Nontawat got a fun idea to edit those into a story. So he made them into a short film.When Jira Malikul of Hub Ho Hin Films saw this film, he got interested, so he offered them more fund. They collected more footages with Preduce. Rthit's team. And Nontawat submitted it as his final project in the university. After that, he sent it to www.thaiindie.com so that it could be shown in festivals.

ชีวิตหนึ่งคน ทำอะไรได้ไม่มาก ฉันเลือกมีชีวิตอยู่วัน วัน ด้วยการหลอกกินญาติและมิตร เพื่อปลูกป่าผืนหนึ่ง ให้นานาสัตว์อยู่อาศัย เมื่อฉันตายไป โปรดรักษาป่าผืนนี้ไว้ เพื่อเป็นที่ระลึกถึงฉัน
One man’s life cannot do too much things. I choose to live off my family and friends from one day to another, in order to plant a forest for all the animals to live. When I die, please preserve this forest, in remembrance of me.

ภาพยนตร์สั้นเรื่องนี้ถูกสร้างขึ้นเพื่อระลึกถึงผลงานและการจากไปของ กนกพงศ์ สงสมพันธ (1966-2006), นักเขียนรางวัลซีไรท์
This film is made in memorial of Kanokpong Songsomphan (1966-2006), a S.E.A. Write award winner.
